COVID-19: From August 2020
We’re delighted to be welcoming guests back to the Bothy, and in doing so want to make your stay as safe and enjoyable as possible. We also want to play our part in keeping our small island community safe, and for us all to play our part in keeping COVID-19 at bay.
These measures have been written in accordance with ASSC (The Association of Scotland’s Self-Caterers) and the Scottish Governments COVID-19 guidelines, risk assessments and recommendations.
Our Part:
We will be providing hand sanitiser outside and inside the Bothy door.
We will be undertaking a thorough cleaning regime before and after guests leave with a AntiViral disinfectant.
We will not enter the Bothy during your stay.

Please ensure you use the provided hand sanitiser on entering and leaving Bothy.
We encourage guests to make full use of the cleaning products provided throughout their stay.
All used linen should be left in the shower at the end of your stay.
Also at the end of your stay, all bin bags should be tied up, if used.
We ask our guests to be mindful and respect all Scottish Government COVID-19 regulations throughout their stay in the Hebrides.
If any of your party (or any members of the party’s household) are showing signs of COVID-19 prior to arrival you must cancel your stay with us.
If any of your party should begin to show COVID-19 symptoms during your stay in the Bothy you should inform us immediately so we can take the appropriate action.
In the event that a guest develop symptoms whilst staying away from home, they should immediately book a test through NHS Inform or, if they can’t get online, by phoning 0800 028 2816. In accordance with Test and Protect, people with symptoms are required to self-isolate for at least 7 days, and everyone in their household should isolate for 14 days.
If regulations should change prior to your arrival at the Bothy and you are unable to travel, we’re afraid we can no longer provide full refunds in this instance and will be deferring to our original cancellation policies which can be found on our contact page - if this should occur though, please get in touch as soon as you can and we’ll do our best to move your booking to a later date.
